This service will be delivered by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA), Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA), and/or Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). Our dedicated team will address behavior reduction goals, replacement skills, and goals in the areas of communication, social skills, independent living skills, and other areas as identified in the initial assessment.
At Transforming Treasures, our Lead Analysts provide consulting services with schools, teachers, and other organizations as needed. We help in many ways including creating Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) when maladaptive behavior interferes with learning, Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), outlining recommended intervention strategies, Teacher in-service training workshops focusing on ABA fundamentals, strategies, tools, and more.
During parent training sessions, our lead Analysts provide parents and families with the opportunity to learn principles of ABA, practice, and receive feedback by following the BST model (instruction, modeling, practice, and feedback). Goals of parent training sessions include the ability to monitor and assess progress toward goals in the Client’s behavior plan. Our professionals provide feedback and recommendations based on the Client’s progress while explaining specific behaviors, analytic concepts, techniques, and procedures. We assist families in role playing techniques while giving performance feedback on implementation, modeling protocols, and generalization of skills/goals.
Social Skills are the skills our clients use when they communicate and interact with their peers. At Transforming Treasures, we believe that maintaining positive communication with peers is essential and it has many benefits such better relationships, manners, and the use of non-verbal cues. Our Lead Analysts will conduct an initial social skill assessment, and will assign an individualized social skill program carefully curated for your child within the following categories: pre-requisite skills, beginner program, intermediate program, and advance program.
